Pension scheme for fee paid Tribunal Judges
On 1 May 2015 the Department of Justice in Northern Ireland issued an information note to eligible Tribunal Judiciary to bring them up-to-date on changes to judicial pensions and plans to introduce a new pension scheme for fee-paid Tribunal Judges.
The purpose of the moratorium is to remove the need for potential claimants to lodge a "protective" claim from 1 May 2013.
On 3 July 2014, the Ministry of Justice published a further statement in fee-paid judicial cases.

On 27 March 2014, following the judgments of the Employment Tribunal and Employment Appeal Tribunal, the Ministry of Justice published a statement to inform past and present fee-paid judicial office holders what steps the Ministry of Justice is taking following these judgments.
