Consultation description
The Review considered that £5m of savings could be achieved from civil legal aid without harming access to justice.
Interim report
An interim post consultation report is being published , as following consideration of the consultation responses, subsequent discussions with bodies representing the legal profession and representations made directly to the Justice Minister, the Department has decided to conduct further research and is developing a revised set of proposals. A full report will be published at a later stage. The interim report was considered by the Justice Committee on 25th June 2014.
