Summary
This consultation concerns amendments to the Rules that will allow the tribunal to continue to deal with applications under the 1986 Order but to also hear appeals against authorisations of deprivations of liberty under the Mental Capacity Act (NI) 2016. The tribunal will be renamed The Review Tribunal from 1 October 2019.
