This report addressed to the Department of Justice, provides the results of the actuarial valuation of the police pension schemes carried out by the Government Actuary as at 31 March 2020. The valuation has been undertaken in accordance with the Public Service Pensions (Valuations and Employer Cost Cap) Directions (Northern Ireland) 2023, which specify certain assumptions and require other assumptions to be Department of Justice (Northern Ireland) best estimates.
