The Department of Justice is seeking to appoint a Chief Inspector of Criminal Justice in Northern Ireland. The post is being advertised in line with the Department’s policy of there being no automatic re-appointments for positions filled through public appointments.
The role of the Chief Inspector of Criminal Justice is to secure improvement and greater co-operation between justice agencies including the police service, prison service, public prosecution service, youth justice and courts, providing a better justice system for the whole community.
